The problem

Contractors lose jobs to whoever sends the quote first. Not the best price. Not the best work. The fastest reply.

The kitchen-table quote, written from memory at 9pm, killed by an iPhone parking-lot quote sent two hours earlier.
30 min
Average quote time

Without WalkQuote: digging through notes, looking up prices, formatting a quote that doesn't embarrass you.

First reply
Wins the job

The contractor who sends the quote first sets the anchor — the price, the timeline, the relationship. Everyone after is competing against that first impression.

2nd trip
What kills momentum

Driving back to the office to write the quote. By the time you send it, your client has hired someone else.

How it works

Three taps. One walkthrough. Done.

WalkQuote listens to how you actually describe a job — to a homeowner, to a buddy, to yourself — and turns it into a clean, itemized quote.

01

Walk the job. Talk like you would to your buddy.

Tap the mic. Say what you see. "Kitchen paint job, eight gallons at seventy each, thirty-two hours of labor at eighty-five an hour, two coats." No forms. No tapping. No spelling.

The AI builds the quote. You polish it.

Listening, understanding, pricing. In about ten seconds, you've got an itemized quote — material, labor, equipment, all separated, all priced. Edit anything. Add anything.

Built for the trades

Everything a solo contractor needs. Nothing they don't.

No CRMs to configure. No team seats. No 47-step setup. WalkQuote starts working the second you finish recording.

Voice-first recording

Built for the way contractors actually work — outside, hands dirty, on the move. Live transcription so you can see what it's hearing.

PDFs your clients trust

Your logo. Your business name. Itemized line items, totals, signature block, valid-until dates. The quote looks like a $5M company sent it.

Live accept tracking

Push notification the moment your client opens the quote. Another when they accept. The waiting game gets a lot shorter.

Email + text delivery

One tap to email. One tap to text. The link opens in any browser — no app install needed for your client.

30 seconds to send

Walk the job. Tap stop. Edit if needed. Tap send. Total time from "let's quote it" to "client got the quote" — under a minute.

Public quote links

Every quote has a clean URL like walkquote.app/q?id=xxx. Forward it, post it, send it any way you want.

From the client's side

They open the link. They tap Accept. You get paid.

Your client doesn't need an app. They get an email with a link, tap it, see a clean web view of their quote, and tap Accept Quote. Done. You get the notification before they're done celebrating.

Questions, answered

The honest stuff.

What you'd want to know before downloading. No marketing detours.

Tap any line item in the Review screen and edit anything — description, quantity, price, category. Add new items manually. Delete what doesn't apply. The AI gives you a starting draft; you ship the final quote. The point is to save you 25 minutes, not to remove your judgment.
No. Your clients receive a normal email or text with a link. The link opens in any browser — phone, tablet, desktop — and shows them a clean, professional view of the quote. They can tap Accept Quote without installing or signing into anything.
Painters, landscapers, handymen, plumbers, deck builders, electricians, HVAC, flooring, fencing, tile, concrete, drywall — anyone who walks a job, talks through the work, and quotes by the line item. WalkQuote isn't built for huge multi-crew companies with full estimating teams. It's built for the person who shows up to the job in their own truck.
The counter resets on the 1st of each month. You get 3 fresh quotes, every month, free, forever. If you're hitting the limit consistently, that probably means WalkQuote is paying for itself — Pro is $29.99/month for unlimited. One closed job covers a year of Pro.
We use OpenAI Whisper, which handles real-world contractor speech well — outdoor noise, accents, fast talkers, "ums" and pauses. The AI extracting line items is built around how contractors actually talk, not how they'd write a formal estimate. You'll see the live transcript while you record, so if it mishears something you can re-record on the spot.
Yes — Pro users can upload a logo and configure business name, address, phone, license number, and tax info in Settings. All of it shows up automatically on every PDF and the public quote viewer. Your client sees your brand, not ours.
Encrypted in Supabase (a managed Postgres provider) on US-based servers. Only you can see your quotes — not us, not other users, not advertisers. Voice recordings are processed by OpenAI Whisper for transcription only and aren't used to train any AI models. Read the full privacy policy if you want the details.
iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → WalkQuote Pro → Cancel. Two taps. You keep Pro features through the end of your current billing period. No retention dialogs, no "are you sure" guilt-trips, no hoops.
From the builder

"WalkQuote is for the contractor in the parking lot, on the truck bed, at the job site — quoting in real time while the homeowner is still standing there. That's where this business is won."
